Acabei de Acabar, Mas Ainda Falta Alguma Coisa

Three diffusers release essential oils along a 3.5-meter wooden bench, inscribed with the formulas and scent ideas behind each essence. The fragrances seek to reconstruct the smell of a forest — plants, rain, oxygen, flowers — mixed with less obvious layers, such as decay and waste, which are also part of a living ecosystem. Walking through the space, the visitor crosses the three essences and, with every step, builds a different combination of scents. The installation is in dialogue with two works from the MON collection — Amazônicos, by Lygia Pape, and a painting by William Santos — and was part of the Afinidades exhibition, in 2021.
